Brewster is known as the Sea Captains’ Town and is also considered one of the Cape’s most picturesque towns. Located on the bay side of Cape Cod, it’s bayside beaches include the “Brewster Flats”, which are low tide pools that allow kids to explore marine life and provide warmer Bay waters.
Home to Nickerson State Park which provides camping areas, freshwater ponds for swimming, fishing and boating, and trails for biking and hiking. The town-run Stony Brook Grist Mill and Museum features both a sparkling brook and picturesque mill. Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and Drummer Boy Park are not to be missed. Make sure to visit the numerous art galleries, craft shops and antique shops that dot the historic “Old King’s Highway” Route 6A, including the old Brewster General Store!
