Where

In between the more well-known First Encounter Beach and Sunken Meadow Beach lies this prize beach. There is a small parking area elevated above the water with a set of stairs leading down to the sand. The view from the parking area is incredible. From this spot, one can see Rock Harbor to the south all the way up to the Pilgrim Monument to the north. To top it all off, for most of the year, the sun sets directly in front of you. When the tide is low, the flats leave many boats resting on the sand, allowing people to walk among them. It is a special added treat.

Important info:  A small beach. No life guards. Portable restroom. Accessible via a steep set of stairs. Private small parking lot reserved for Eastham residents only. Parking fees apply during summer season for non-residents.
