View 400+ classic cars and speak with their owners at the annual car show, held every Fathers Day on Main Street in Hyannis. This car show is a tradition for so many locals and visitors! Enjoy strolling, socializing and gazing at the spectacular pieces of classic machinery at one of the largest car shows in New England, which is hosted by the Greater Hyannis Chamber of Commerce. A craft show will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (including during the car show) on the Hyannis Village Green on Main Street. Leashed pets are welcome. No rain date.
WCOD Cape Cod Chowder Festival

A Cape Cod tradition continues with WCOD cooking up its annual “Chowder Fest” at the Melody Tent in Hyannis. Bring the family and kick off the Summer of sampling chowder from many of the Cape’s best restaurants, all competing for the coveted “WCOD Chowder Bowl.” Listen to some of the best bands on the Cape under the big tent. Admission includes chowder, ice cream and live entertainment. This years featured bands are Jillian Jensen Band – 1:10 – 2:00pm, Sam Robbins – 12:20 – 1:05pm, Molly Kupris – 11:30am – 12:15pm.

Oak Bluffs hosts its annual Harbor Festival celebrating summer with live music, food, arts, crafts on the harborfront from 10am – 8:00pm. Free admission. Live music on the deck at Nancy’s. More than 40 vendors from near and far, including many of the Vineyard favorites, plan to return for one of the Island’s most popular events. As always, an abundance of native seafood and gourmet treats await the festive gathering at this year’s Harbor Festival. For children, the Annual Fairy Festival will entertain all ages with mystical storytelling and Celtic musicians.
Provincetown Portuguese Festival & Blessing of the Fleet

The four day event welcomes people from around the world who come to Provincetown to celebrate Portuguese Heritage & Culture. There’s live music, dancing, parades, incredible food, and much more. The Blessing Of The Fleet includes a procession to MacMillan Wharf where Portuguese Dancers entertain the crowd before the colorful ceremony. Boats decked out in their finest line up to receive the blessing for a safe & prosperous year. Free activities and lots of fun! Portuguese Festival Parade (Sat, 3 – 5 pm) . Sandwichfest 2019

The “Best Sandwich in Sandwich” competition, featuring offerings from a dozen local restaurants, takes place on the grounds of the Hoxie House, from 11 am to 1 pm. Over 90 vendors will be located along Water Street (Route 130), and will include booths from juried local artists, food and more. Admission is free to this street festival, held on Water Street (Route 130) stretching from Town Hall Square to the Wing School.
