The annual Grecian Festival of St. George Greek Orthodox Church of Cape Cod has attracted thousands of people from all over the country for the past three decades. This year as it celebrates the 36th year of the Grecian Festival the parishioners proudly share their culture, ethnic heritage and faith with dedication and enthusiasm. Delicious Greek pastries baked by the ladies of the community will be offered for sale. Patrons can shop at the Agora (market place) for Greek food products, or stop at the Kafenio (coffee shop) for a cup of authentic Greek coffee and a piece of pastry. The boutique will once again provide souvenir-type items that one might purchase on a vacation to Greece or browse among the many attic treasures.

For over 169 years, the Fair has been a highlight of summer on Cape Cod. The Fair’s attractions include animal shows, monster trucks, carnival rides, demolition derby, petting zoos, horticulture displays, games, live music, arts & crafts, and lots of food and vendors. It’s a full week of fun for the whole family!

Over 100 Juried Craftspeople will display and sell their American made works at the Brewster Summer Arts and Craft Festival, held at Drummer Boy Park on Route 6A, in Brewster, MA. Free Admission and held rain or shine. Plus farmers market on Sunday.
The Woods Hole Film Festival features international narrative and documentary feature films, shorts, and animation, many of them world or New England premieres, workshops, panel discussions and nightly parties held at the water’s edge. It is dedicated to showcasing and promoting the work of independent, emerging filmmakers from New England.
Because public parking is extremely limited in the village of Woods Hole, visitors are encouraged to park in the town of Falmouth and take the WHOOSH trolley to Woods Hole. Information about the trolley is available from the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce (800/526-8532 or 508/548-8500) or from the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority.
The Cape Cod Children’s Museum and the Cape Cod Maritime Museum have partnered to bring the 3rd Annual “Pillage the Village,” a Family-Friendly Pirate Event, to Downtown Hyannis! Pirate entertainment, crafts, activities, pirate costume parade, photo booth and more! Tickets are only $5 per person and include admission to the Cape Cod Maritime Museum, plus Goody Bags for the kids (while supplies last)!
The Pan-Mass Challenge is the largest single athletic charity event in the country. The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), brings together thousands of impassioned cyclists, committed volunteers, generous donors and dedicated corporate sponsors each year. Together, they provide Dana-Farber’s doctors and researchers the necessary resources to discover treatments and cures for all types of cancer. The PMC donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.Since 1980, the Pan-Mass Challenge has raised $500 million in support of lifesaving cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Food Truck Festivals of America is heading to The Cape for the 6th Annual Cape Cod Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival in Falmouth, MA. Featuring some of the area’s most popular food trucks, dishing out fan favorites. Along with dozens of regional and national craft breweries, FTFA will be bringing the ultimate food truck experience to the Cape Cod Fairgrounds.
Provincetown Carnival 2018 is a weeklong celebration of LGBTQ life–parties, art fairs, a costume ball, and more–and culminates in the Carnival Parade on Thursday, 8/16. While the year-round population of Provincetown tops out at 3,000 people, the Carnival Parade attracts nearly 90,000 visitors annually.
The week consists of dance parties, social events, and special performances, as well as Carnival Week favorites, such as the Sunset Cruise, Pool Party, Drag Brunch – and of course Thursday’s Carnival themed parade.

The New Balance Falmouth Road Race celebrates its 47th running this year and the spirit which made the first Falmouth race so special is still present today. More than 12,000 runners gather in Woods Hole, including many of the world’s elite, forming a tapestry of colors from the start on Water Street to the finish at the beach in Falmouth Heights. The race is seven miles long and begins in front of the Woods Hole Community Center, near the drawbridge on Water Street.
