The Scoop:
HerringCove offers something for everyone, we went there 3 days and we did something different each time. Biking on the paths, a hike to Hatches Harbor and a great cookout

Pros:
Close to bike path, ability to back car up to beach, snack bar for kids

Cons:
If it's crowded you can get a little too close to your neighbor :)

The Scoop:
Herring Cove is one of our favorite beaches when we visit the Cape. The ease of backing up your car to beach is perfect and the beach offers something for everyone. Recommend hiking over Hatch's Harbor and playing in the pools that form with the tides.

Pros:
Perfect combos of activtities the bike path, showers, decent snackbar with killer fries, and parking up close. Very cool spot sunsets!

Cons:
Can get some stiff winds but beats working

The Scoop:
Great spot for kids and adults. One our family favorites. Great spot for all day beach excursions - grilling encouraged!

Pros:
Life guards, snack bar, bike path access. National seashore beach, park rangers friendly, whether for a dead car battery or campfire and charades with kids. You can back your car up to the beach, so all grilling and beach supplies are close at hand.

Cons:
Be careful of the undertow when the waves are rough. It's a little pricey to go for just the day ($15), so buy a seashore pass and visit often! Sand can be a little rocky.

The Scoop:
Herring Cove is one of our favorite beaches when we visit this part of the Cape. Has good snack bar for kids and the best part is backing the car right up to the beach.

Pros:
Part of the national seashore, you can park right at sand, good for surf casting and right beside bike trail too.
